  3. Name: Yearbook Love Letter (Reprise) / I Like You
    Artist: Skye
    Album: Football Head the Musical
[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

    footballheadthemusical:

(One of the notes was WAY too high for me, as a dude, to reach, so my gaze-mazing sister Sara filled in. WOO HOO. So, yeah, that’s why I suddenly sound like a middle-school girl. Let me correct myself: middle-schooler. MAYBE YOU CAN THINK OF IT LIKE… like BABY HELGA’S saying it to Arnold for now! So it doesn’t seem so hilarious.)

Be sure to click here to read the lyrics, so you know who’s saying what.

Also, the full-resolution version of the drawing I did up there can be found by click on this entire sentence! That’s right, you could’ve clicked on it a long time before you finished reading. It’s regrettable, I know.

The first full rough recording of the Act II song, I Like You! So far, the only Act II song to be remotely finished at all. … I should try recording Argument. But yeah, to set the tone, Helga and Arnold have gone off on their own to try and find a way out and save the people who are still trapped in the auditorium, due to Curly’s flip-out at the end of the social. They get angry at each other, but eventually, they come to a point where they realize they haven’t been listening to each other, or even respecting each other, and this song happens. Also, this song means a lot more after hearing the Act I Yearbook Love Letter song, because it echoes a lot of the themes, except now they’re finally being shared with Arnold, albeit in a less gushing fashion. Everything that was said in the song in question seems to feel like it’s there in this, despite any of the original words never being there.

Skye and Amanda are such a talented pair. For them to tackle such an ambitious project that consists of so much work…it must be shared and recognized. It is so exciting to watch this unfold so beautifully it’s keeping me on my toes. It’s so exciting! The creativity woven into this musical is so well defined and captures the nature of Hey Arnold so gracefully. This song is nothing short of fantastic and embodies Arnold and Helga’s young relationship; which transitions/matures to an acknowledgement of a friendship. It’s beautiful.

  6. [Flash 10 is required to watch video]

    footballheadthemusical:

I just felt compelled to upload this to start the week— yes, this is Hey Arnold! AND musical-related. This is an excerpt from a video I made on my primary channel where I thanked all my family and friends. I made this portion for Amanda. Could I have been any less subtle?… Heh…

ALSO, I apologize for getting satin and latin mixed up. Con’sarnit!

  7. footballheadthemusical:

Looks like the entire YouTube Poop was a little too much for people to stomach through. Okay— I’m going to get back to posting recordings of the music from the musical very soon. Almost certain I’m going to do Argument next. But— give this musical remix of Hey Arnold! a shot. Just wait this much of it out, and I really don’t think any Hey Arnold! junkies could be fully disappointed they watched it… Thank you very, very much.

why isn’t this on my blog yet haha. LOVE this
