I want to know how Helga obtained Arnold’s eyelashes.
(illustrated by Steve Lowtwait)
Today, my sisters and I had the privilege of watching the animatics for Jet Propulsion (Craig’s new PBS series about an alien from the planet Borton 7 landing on Earth. He hangs out with a couple of cool kids, one called Sean, whose super eager to win a Nobel Prize, and Sydney whose a scifi junkie.) It was a very great and charming toon that will definitely appeal to kids. Watch out for it on PBS!
Craig Bartlett circa 1990
“When Arnold was clay.
Matt (his son) was still an infant, and this is the dining room.”
Craig’s new show on PBS, Jet Propulsion, has this Cyber Chase feel to it—right down to the color pallet at least from what I saw. Right??
Here are some examples of Hey Arnold products that did have Craig’s signatures! The last item is the new Arnold toy that you can probably pick up in Target.
((If you’re wondering what I’m talking about please read this post!)
Link to unsigned merchandise
Here’s an example of HA merchandise that didn’t have Craig Bartlett’s signatures. (which are produced around 2001 and later). The bobble head Arnold has only one shot but trust me! the company didn’t print Craig’s signature on it even though he was technically still with Nick when they made the bobble head, their relationship was already bad.
I have another Gerald and one Helga plush that doesn’t have Craig’s printed signature on it, but the tags are no longer there.

Craig Bartlett’s signature is on the New Hey Arnold toy? What does it mean!
So, the HA! Merchandise released in the 90’s-early 2000’s displayed Craig’s signature which can be found on packages or the product themselves.
Later on, when he left Nick, a handful of other merchandises were created without his signature stamped somewhere.
So now I find his signature on the back of this new toy!! It makes me wonder if it means anything or…if I’m just reading into things too much. Hmmm!
