Pretty much all of this. Also, this whiole thing was not quoted, but Craig also discussed the episodes made after the movie were somewhat made on a whim. (it was also the animation studio playing around with digital animation) it was also the pivotal chance for them to keep hey arnold on air. He said: we kinda just do things to make viewers think we got our shit together. But no, we didn’t but we’re glad they worked. The April Fools episode and The Journal had beautiful animation, it was the department daring Nick to cancel the show. (unfortunately the show was canceled and it was a big shock to everyone.)

But Craig did, in fact say that April Fools was after the Movie, just as he previously said. Shrug
