Yeah, it starts at eight. I get up at 5 everyday just to get to class on time and it’s so frustrating because this class is so EXPENSIVE and its so useless. You can learn more going on youtube. I don’t see anybody confronting him about it ever, and what sucks about this is that these are important classes. It’s digital ink and paint and half of these students don’t know how to use photoshop to the best of their abilities because a ton of them are new to digital medium. The first day of class he says there was a previous teacher who taught it and he taught digital painting in FLASH. I understand going through digital drawings on flash since it’s an animation program but learning how to digitally ink and paint on flash for 11 weeks is just??????? But I suppose you’re expected to have previous knowledge but this school says they’ll teach anyone how to draw step by step so why isn’t this happening?? Why aren’t they going over the basics and over the important stuff??? there needs to be a bigger standard, it’s really sad to see people settle for mediocrity.
It’s 8:31 and the professor isn’t here. He’s always late??? Did he forget to get up or…??? This is what students are paying for.
Not one to complain but???? at least show interest that you want to be here and want to teach something but no. All he does is tell us what to draw and then sits down I just…think it’s such a big flaw that these institutions have. We make an effort make it here on time, we pay 1500 dollars for an eleven week course for EACH class, and the least a professor can do is show up on time instead of being 30-40 mins late EVERYDAY. There’s awful traffic all the time but there’s really no excuse, I live about an hour away, commute to school, have morning class, and I get to school about 10 mins early EVERYDAY.
Some people are meant to be teachers and some aren’t, you’ll always have those nice people who are, unfortunately, not meant to teach and I wish they knew that but it’s all about the paycheck.
The Anne Frank wax figurine now on display at Madame Tussaud’s Museum. In addition to the figure, her room has partially rebuilt in the museum, and you can hears noises outside her window if you listen close, noises ranging from planes and shouts to birds and gentle talking. A truly remarkable figurine, as normally the artists work with live people whom they can get accurate measurements on. With Anne, the artists only had photos, but she turns out so real looking you can’t help but smile back at her.
